Membrane separator, CLAMP DIN 32676

Separation diaphragms are used in combination with suitable manometers and pressure sensors. Separators are designed for applications in which the operating medium must not come into contact with the meter (eg due to contamination, presence of solid particles, viscosity, etc.).The outer side of the separating stainless steel membrane is in contact with the medium whose pressure we measure.

Basic information

They are designed with an emphasis on longevity and extreme operating conditions. The separators are designed for the food and beverage industry and wherever the emphasis is on thorough sanitation and cleaning of the system. Diaphragm-separated pressure gauges can also be used in operations where vibrations or pulsating pressures occur. The principle consists in the use of a membrane and an inert liquid, which transmits the pressure to the measuring device of the pressure gauge (manometer).

Connection with CLAMP sleeve (mounting bracket) and silicone seal with appropriate CLAMP mating piece. The pressure gauges must be vented using a vent plug.
